I am an international relations and international development professional whose record has been built at the intersection of strategic communications, programme and project coordination, and development practice across three institutional settings since 2023: inside two divisions of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, inside an international NGO partner network, and through a postgraduate programme built around applied project design and strategic communications.
I currently serve as Partnerships and Communications Coordinator at MANGOma, a UK-registered international development charity, having continued with the organisation on completion of my Development Work Placement in September 2026. The role spans partner coordination, external communications, and funding intelligence across a sixteen-partner NGO network in eleven countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and Europe, delivered remotely from Islamabad in direct working relationships with partner directors, volunteers, and trustees. It builds on the placement, where I delivered partner engagement, donor stewardship, and capacity building as one connected function. That work produced a seven-module NGO Fundraising and Bid-Writing Toolkit deployed across every partner, a 211-entry international funding intelligence database converting fragmented donor information into targeted strategy, and governance-level engagement with the Board of Trustees across four structured check-ins that shaped the organisation’s 2026 capacity-building workshop programme.
Before that I worked in the United Nations Division of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, contributing to Pakistan’s climate policy representation at COP29 under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director. I researched, drafted, and analysed four policy briefs on the New Collective Quantified Goal and the Green Climate Fund, coordinated documentation and operational logistics for Pakistan’s facilitation of the SCO Islamabad Summit 2024, and engaged formally with diplomats and senior officials from more than seventeen countries. Earlier, in the Iran and Turkey Division, I coordinated the Pakistan-Türkiye 75 Years of Diplomatic Relations Conference convening more than fifty diplomats and senior officials.
I am completing my Master of Arts in Global Development at the University of East Anglia, holding Distinctions in Project Design and Management, Contemporary World Development, Globalisation, Business and Development, and Development Perspectives. My Development Work Placement analytical report, Conformity Without Recognition, examines why donor-ready grassroots NGOs remain unfunded and what that means for the organisations built to support them. As Project Director for Nile Bridge Partners, an academic South Sudan humanitarian simulation serving conflict-affected youth in Bor South County, Jonglei State, I directed a GBP 2 million Humanitarian, Development and Peace Nexus proposal, personally writing the executive summary, logframe, and results framework while leading a multi-functional team of six. I hold the UEA Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards and am an active UEA Award Fellow.
